FAQs :

LEET (Lateral Entry Entrance Test) is an entrance examination administered in India for admission to engineering and technology courses under the Lateral Entry program.

The Indian Institutes of Technology does not offer admission to Bachelor of Engineering courses through lateral entry. There is no provision for admission to diploma holders in IITs wherein they could be able to get direct entry into the second year of the 4 year degree programme.

The syllabus of HP LEET 2025 consists of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Before commencing their preparation for the exam, the candidates are advised to check the HP LEET 2025 syllabus carefully. Along with the syllabus, the candidates are also advised to check the HP LEET 2025 exam pattern.

The marking scheme has been released through the HP LEET exam pattern. According to the official HP LEET marking scheme, 4 marks will be given for every correct answer. However, one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

A minimum cumulative score of 45% (42.75% for SC students) is required for a 3-year diploma in engineering or technology from the Haryana State body of Technical Education (HSBTE) or an equivalent body.
